Problem :

I noticed that most local food content in Puebla was either overly critical or felt like a hidden advertisement. It was difficult to find a reliable source that gave an honest, balanced opinion while also capturing the fun and atmosphere of the dining experience.

The opportunity was to create a channel that felt less like a formal critic and more like a trusted friend, focusing on the real conversations and good times that make a meal memorable.

Solution :

My solution was to create and manage the ABOCA2 channel as a one-person production team, ensuring a completely authentic and consistent voice. I handled the entire workflow: from scouting unique restaurants in Puebla and writing conversational, unscripted-feeling reviews to personally filming and editing every episode.

The creative direction was focused on honesty and energy—capturing the "good times" and "fun conversations" of the dining experience, not just the food. This relatable, personality-driven approach was designed to make viewers feel like a friend was giving them an inside tip, fostering the exact community of food lovers that Puebla was missing.

Challenge :

The single greatest challenge was managing the entire production workload as a one-person team. I was simultaneously the strategist, scriptwriter, location scout, host, cameraman, and video editor. Balancing all these roles while trying to maintain a consistent upload schedule—which is critical for YouTube growth—was a constant battle against time and the risk of creative burnout.

Summary :

Seeing an opportunity for authentic food content in Puebla, I launched the ABOCA2 Jaramillo YouTube channel from scratch. As a one-person team, I managed the entire process: from concept, scriptwriting, and location scouting to filming and editing every episode. The channel focuses on providing honest restaurant reviews while building a community around the fun and social experience of dining, aiming to be a trusted, relatable voice in the local food scene.
